Environmental Method Statements and Ecological Clerk of Works
If your construction projects require any environmental input, from preparing and agreeing method statements and consultation with local authorities and statutory agencies, to overseeing works on site and liaising with the client’s environmental managers, then we have the expertise and experience to help.
Our Expertise
With over 40 years of extensive experience, we can:
- Sort out all your protected species issues – consult, develop and agree method statements with the statutory authorities, obtain licences, undertake and manage the works;
- Develop method statements and oversee habitat translocation work (we wrote the best practice guide for habitat translocation (CIRIA 2003);
- Work with you to manage peat – its hydrology, carbon store, ecology, handling, replacement and restoration;
- Manage and monitor water quality on construction sites;
- Deal with soils – handling, storage and replacement for ecological and landscape functions;
- Advise on protection of trees and habitats during works;
- Design and implement habitat creation or restoration as the project requires during or after the main works; and
- Monitor the results (preparing any reports that are required).

- Protected species translocations or protection on many sites for supermarkets, housing, airport facilities and infrastructure, canal repair, reservoir dam repair and quarries;
